Building regulations

As soon as we, as young professionals, immerse into the world of building, we become responsible for our own judgements and for our own actions. Law is a forever present element in every business across the world, and for every business there is a law. Naturally, buildings have their own legislations and regulations to follow. The overall safety of the building, the safety of the people inside and immediately outside of the building, the longevity of the structure and the efficiency that it is built with and used; all of these make up a set of standards that any architectural team would have to follow, in order to get planning permission.

These regulations vary from country to country. That is why, even if an architect passes his final exam and obtains his legal practice certificate in one country, if he should decide to move, he would have to pass another test, specific for that country's legislations and regulations.
As I am currently studying in the UK, I have been introduced to their laws concerning buildings.
