Amongst the standards of the Building Regulations from all around the world, a highly perceived element is regarded to be the safety within a building in the case of fire.

In such situations, both the primary and secondary structures of the building must hold, and help direct any occupants of the building to safety.

Therefore, the building team behind any project must provide a highly performant design, both functional and pleasant.

To help them in this aspect, the Approved Document B in the Building Regulations deals with fire-safety design in both domestic and public domains.
Appropriate signage, correct direction of door opening and maximum permissible distance to the nearest fire exit are only a few of the aspect that are discussed here.

In our new Market Square designs, we have to consider these regulations, and abide by their rules.
