One of the main concerns of the current world is the notion of sustainable development. An important part of sustainable development is preparing the world of today for the challenges from the world of tomorrow. Since we cannot predict the future, we might as well begin to be ready for what we know is certain: change.

Building for change is a concept that involves the end user of the building into the actual building process, and invites and allows future change within it. Wheather it is a change of interior walls nd divisioning of the open plan of a house, or a choice of cladding, or extending a roof over an existing terrace and build another room, they all allow for the possibility of personalising the building. That is what the architects behind Accordia have done.
